Haley Skerrett has been a leading real estate agent for nearly 20 years. A California native, she grew up in Bishop before heading west to earn a B.S. in Business Finance from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. Drawn to the combination of beautiful nature and access to bustling San Francisco, Haley then ventured north to Santa Rosa.
Upon graduation, Haley Skerrett served as the president and CEO of document destruction company ShredPro Inc., where she gained a valuable skill set, she still uses today. Several years later, Haley sold ShredPro Inc. to a larger company in order to focus on real estate full time.
Having grown up in a family surrounded by real estate professionals, Haley proved to be a natural agent. She also credits her mentorship under a top producer with giving her a comprehensive understanding of the business. Working with everyone from buyers to sellers, mortgage brokers to escrow officers, Haley handled many diverse types of transactions from the get-go, teaching her to remain adaptable and perseverant and honing her expertise in a variety of areas. Haley eventually partnered with her mentor at Creative Property Services and began selling a large volume of REOs for powerhouses Chase Bank and Bank of America.
Haley then spent nearly a decade working with brokerages W Real Estate and Pacific Union before making the move to Compass in November 2018 and is part of the Pacific Union/Compass Innovation team, where she currently works with everyone from first time home buyers to seasoned investors. Though she is confident working with a range of clients, she specializes in serving government workers like military, law enforcement, and firefighters and enjoys educating buyers who are new to the process.
Taking pride in having built her business from the ground up and working almost exclusively off of referral and repeat clients, Haley is committed to providing the highest-quality service. Combining professionalism and diligence with fun and easygoing approach, her primary goal is to help her clients reach their goals with the least amount of stress possible. Haley believes the key to success is to stay organized, proactive, and goal-oriented, communicating frequently and transparently.
When Haley is not working, you can find her volunteering to better her community or enjoying the North Bay’s natural beauty. Her favorite activities include hiking, biking, camping, and fishing with her husband and two sons.
