There are all kinds of reasons people need to buy or sell a house. Some have a new baby and need more space. Some have an empty nest and are ready to downsize. Some are relocating for a job and moving to or from the area. Some are selling an elderly parent’s home as they go to assisted living, or others may be looking for investment property. All these people have very different objectives and needs as they move through their transition. Heather enjoys getting to know her clients and tailoring her services to each family’s needs in their particular situation. Because her family moved a lot when their children were young, she is sympathetic to all the stresses and strains a family goes through when in transition, even when that move is a happy, welcome event.

Heather is that rare person who actually grew up in Charlotte. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Business (Go Heels!), she worked in banking as well as managing other businesses before launching her career in real estate. Her background in operations management means she is careful to keep up with the myriad of details that are involved in moving from offer accepted to closed. During their many moves her husband began calling her the ’moving fairy’ because all the details just miraculously got handled. She aims to do the same for her clients.
