A fast-moving market

Closeburn-Glenkirk offers residents a peaceful suburban lifestyle minus the long commute to work. Just 8 miles from Uptown Charlotte and 2 miles from SouthPark, Closeburn-Glenkirk has wide, gridded streets densely lined with Charlotte's native oak and maple trees, giving residents a sense of privacy. "This area is perfect for new homebuyers looking for a property within an older, established location, says eXp Realtor Rita Fleming-Johnson, who has lived and represented clients in the Charlotte area for over 40 years. "It is highly desirable and always a good investment." Home values range from $339,000 to $2.1 million and are steadily trending up. According to Fleming-Johnson, single-family homes in Closeburn-Glenkirk don't come on the market often and do not stay on the market for very long.

Crime does not appear to be at an all time high. My complex now has staff and a security gate that works the overnight shift.
