Midcentury single-family homes and condos
Much of the neighborhood’s housing stock is from the mid-20th century. You’ll find well-maintained ranch-style homes, split-levels, Cape Cods, Colonial Revivals, Dutch Colonials and custom homes lining the curving, tree-shaded streets here. “We’ve had a number of people who, instead of moving, decided to renovate and add on,” says Linda Henley, a longtime resident and Realtor with Cottingham Chalk. “Those folks, as they have sold, have been able to recoup their investment.” If you’re looking for less maintenance, there are condos and townhouses with community pools and clubhouses.
