Heather Hansen

Heather’s background in financial management, coupled with decades of expertise in custom home contracting, provide her with the ability to find her clients not only their dream home, but a sound financial investment. Heather’s real estate connections span the country: however, as a longtime Edina resident, her deep knowledge of the Twin Cities Metro area ensures that buyers and sellers alike will achieve their desired result for the right value.

Heather hails from Indiana, earned a BA in Economics and Communications at Denison University and spent several years in Chicago working in equity sales and trading before moving to the Twin Cities. Licensed in Minnesota since 2010, Heather transitioned to Coldwell Banker in 2021. She serves real estate clients in new construction and vacation home properties in addition to traditional real estate sales.

In addition to her personal work facilitating the building and design of multiple custom homes, Heather served as the Director of Marketing for Carl M. Hansen Companies from 2008-2018. Her experience in managing high-end residential construction and land management adds value to clients seeking guidance.

Heather lives in Edina with her husband, Carl where they are raising their 3 children. Community organization is pivotal to her engagement with Edina: As an active Rotary Club Member since 2009, Heather has served on the board as the Youth Services Director, the Public Image Director, and as the Student Exchange Program Leader at various intervals. Entertaining with family and friends at the lake and in Florida is Heather’s favorite hobby. She enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, and snowmobiling, and in her spare time, Heather volunteers at her kids’ school and advocates for several local charitable organizations and neighborhood associations.
