I am originally from Park Rapids, MN, where my father was a custom home builder. I have lived in the Bismarck/Mandan/Lincoln area for the past 31 years. Widowed in 2019, my husband & I would have been married 30 years this fall. We have one daughter, Brooke, and a very busy grandson, Kai.
Prior to becoming a REALTOR® in 2012, I was a part of Bismarck's retail industry in. My passion for helping others has led me to many amazing people that live in our community. I love meeting people, hearing their stories, and understanding their journey. Meeting with first time home buyers, newlyweds, growing families, and families downsizing make every day unique. I can also work from personal experience as my husband and I were first-time homebuyers in Lincoln, moved to Bismarck, moved to Mandan, and then designed and built the home where I live today.
Aside from being a Realtor®, I enjoy the outdoors: biking, fishing, hunting, truly anything to do with water activities. I am very involved with BikeMS: a fundraising activity that raises funds and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. My bike team has raised over $125,000 in the past five years! I also participate in local events like the Little Black Dress Campaign, Backpack for Kids, Student Impact Campaign, Furry Friends Rock n' Rescue, and other charitable opportunities that pull at the heartstrings.
As an active member of the Bismarck Mandan Board of Realtors, I have served the REALTOR® Membership and local community as a Board Director, Vice President, President-Elect, President, and now Past President. I also serve as a committee chair on the North Dakota Association of Realtors and as a Committee member on the National Association of Realtors. This involvement allows me to be current on market trends and legislative initiatives from the local to the national level.
I have been honored to receive the Bismarck Mandan Board of Realtors REALTOR® of the Year Award in 2021, as well as the Nominee to represent the same board for the REALTOR® of the Year for North Dakota Association of Realtors in 2023.
I'm proud to be a member of the Bismarck-Mandan Board of REALTORS®, the North Dakota Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, the Great North Multiple Listing Service, the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce, Bismarck-Mandan Development Association, and the Bismarck-Mandan Home Builders Association.
