Helen Bender

Helen is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences degree in English along with a minor in Computing Technologies and Advancements in the Spring of 2018. She moved back to Mobile, AL, where she was born and raised, in hopes of establishing a successful and long-lasting career in Real Estate. Growing up, Helen attended St. Ignatius Catholic School before moving on to UMS-Wright Preparatory School where she graduated in 2014. She is excited to share her passion for her hometown through her Real Estate career with Sam Winter & Co. Helen earned the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsement from the National Association of REALTORS®. The endorsement goes to REALTORS® who have demonstrated knowledge and competency in 10 core areas of real estate practice. Since 2018, Helen has closed over 24 transactions with a total sales volume of over $6.4 million.

In 2022, Helen was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma and as of February 17, 2023, is now officially a cancer survivor. Shortly after her good news, Helen and Alec were married at St. Joesph’s Catholic church where they attend church on Sundays.

Helen enjoys spending her weekends with her husband Alec, taking the boat out on Dog River, as well as exploring new and fun things to do in the downtown area of Mobile. With a background in social media advertising for multiple businesses, she has developed an interest in marketing and plans on using these learned skills to advance her real estate business.
