Generations of buyers and sellers have turned to Alfonso Real Estate, which has relied on word-of-mouth advertising that is the result of Henry’s decades-long personal relationships and his abiding interest in people — as well as the latest digital marketing tools.
He started in real estate when he was 21 (and playing music with bands in greater Fall River and New Bedford), while he and his wife Patricia started their family. He took real estate courses at Southeastern Massachusetts University, began managing a real estate firm in 1974 and founded his own firm in 1981. He has continually learned and grown as a real estate professional with a drive that led him as a new business owner to take on a paper route to get himself up and at it early in the morning. Soon, the agents who worked for him did the same.
Today he is owner and broker of Alfonso Real Estate, working with Patricia and his son Michael and daughter Kim to operate an independent family business that is among the region’s most trusted real estate firms.
