About Henry

As Southern California Regional manager, Henry Gonzales’ leadership is critical to Diamond Residential’s ambitious vision to serve homebuyers in California. He is responsible for making sure Area Managers, Branch Managers and Loan Officers reach their professional and personal potential.

Henry joined Diamond Residential Mortgage Corporation in 2017 as California Regional Manager, following an extensive career in sales and management within the mortgage banking industry. His background includes managing Regional accounts for major players in the Mortgage Banking field, and at one time he was responsible for the Realtor purchase platforms throughout the State of California.

Gonzales is on the leading edge of brand, reputation and social media management. It may be faster to navigate southern California’s freeways than Gonzales’ LinkedIn profile. He has a rich history of business and governmental leadership backed up by the endorsements and friendships of dozens of influential Californians. His ability to make friends and close deals may help explain how in less than two years he has created a force to be reckoned with in the volatile, frenetic mortgage industry.

Originally recruited by Richard Smith, EVP of Production for DRMC, Gonzales was given a deceptively simple task: build California. That effort included recruiting “cream of the crop” team members and owning the mortgage scene from Northern California and Central California, all the way to San Diego and Southern California.

According to Gonzales: “We are national, but we believe California is the key to our success. And that success is all about connecting our team members online and offline and creating a real-world impression that keeps us converting by staying top of conversation.”

Henry Attended the University of Pacific where he enjoyed playing Football for Pete Carrol and delights in outdoor hobbies such as sports and spending time with his Family. He lives in Hacienda Heights, CA, with his wife, two daughter and three sons.
