Howard Gordon was the youngest of 6 siblings born and raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. They were taught to respect others and treat people as they would like to treated. They were considered a “blue collar” family and were very supportive of each other.
He served in the U. S. Army from 1964 to 1970. It was during the Vietnam conflict, but he was fortunate not to be sent over there unlike many of his friends, some of whom paid the ultimate price.
He worked for the telephone company for 35 years, moving up the ranks to become Division Manager. During his career with the telephone company, they provided him with an opportunity to go back to college and obtain a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
After that, he worked as a telecommunications consultant for 5 years in a large international consulting company. His wife and he enjoyed 2 fantastic years in Europe while he was traveling around in his consultant role. It was a magical time in their lives. They were able to bring both of their grown daughters over there to get a chance to see other wonderful parts of the world. Their daughters are both Gator Graduates.
They moved to Gainesville FL after retiring from consulting to be near one of the daughters. Best move he has ever made. Gainesville is an amazing place.
He started his real estate career here in Gainesville FL in 2003. He finds that his real estate career encapsulates many of the skills he has learned over the years and has helped him to become a complete professional in the real estate world. He looks forward to working with you to make your home buying experience seamless, enjoyable and less stressful.
