She previously served as the Director of Development for a professional theater company, and held head of marketing and public relations roles for an international bank and publishing company. Irit holds a BA from New York University and an MA from London University.
A long-time resident of Sherman and Gaylordsville, Irit is deeply invested in her community. She currently serves on the Sherman Library’s Board of Trustees, is a long-standing volunteer for the Sherman Chapter of FISH (Friends in Service Here), and is a former President of both the Sherman Players and the Candlewood Children’s Choir.
