Choosing Israela Friedman as our realtor was a great decision. We recently moved my father into a personal care facility and we needed to sell his Lower Merion home where he lived for the past 50+ years. Israela is tremendously familiar with the Main Line area with a deep understanding of home values, and she expertly guided us through the entire process. She set an aggressive, yet realistic timeline, and made a recommendation on asking price which generated multiple bids as she predicted. She provided much-needed recommendations for staging the home, clearing the house of possessions, and performing the final cleaning prior to closing. Throughout the entire process, Israela was constantly available as a resource and everything played out exactly as she said it would. I was extremely comfortable with having Israela represent us at closing. I would not hesitate to recommend Israela to anyone who is buying or selling a home.

Google forces me to shorten the review... Were a family of 4 (2 young kids), professionals, had to move semi urgently from the city to Mainline. wanted to build our home and live there for years and decades. Bari is opening her pediatric dentistry practice in the area and the location of our home was important. We had so many requests... green, spacious, private but also sense of community etc. We started looking pretty much at the worst time ever! few houses on the market, and each house had dozens if not more offers.
Here's a tip: find a real-estate agent that lives in the area, who knows everything and everyone, and who really cares about you and your family.

Israela made a strong impression on us as a genuine, positive, and hopeful person. She told us that its not an easy time, but there are always houses available and that she will help us find an amazing house that will be our home. We recognized how positive she is, but also very practical, realistic, and full of energy ready to be used for her clients.

Israela knows the area of the main line like the back of her hand. She knows every little street, every alley. She also knows the advantages and disadvantages of each neighborhood. Israela is one of the most connected people I have ever met. She truly is a pillar of the community and involved in so many activities including Charity. Everyone knows Israela and she knows everyone. this makes her truly recognize the nuances of each neighborhood; Which area has more privacy, which has more of a community sense, what type of a “personality” neighbor it has, proximity to town, traffic situation, quality of schools, the safest streets, etc. Her geographic and thorough knowledge of every street in this area is truly amazing.

In fact, I spoke with her husband who is also physician and discussed her intimate knowledge of every little street and he laughed; he told me that she is known for her photographic memory. She really is like a human map of lower Merion. That plus the connections she has, makes her an incredible real estate agent who will help you find your new home.

Israela is so smart and intuitive. She really gets people including subtle family dynamics. In a parallel world, Israela would been incredible psychologist… In the same way that we came to learn about the area, she is immediately starting to learn about you! The family dynamics, priorities, what are the children like, etc. As an example in our case, I am a city boy, potentially afraid of suburbia. Bari was raised in a big suburb with lots of space. Israela navigated through this and recognized what would be the best neighborhood to make both of us happy.

Israela is so easy to work with, always available for you and puts you at the highest of her priorities. It is important for her to walk with you in the houses. She spent so much time driving us in different areas, showing us houses, talking to us.

Once we found the house she showed us her true value as a lawyer and super negotiator. she was able to get us the house we want despite many dozens of offers. She knows the system better than anyone.

We moved 4 months ago, biking and walking everywhere, we now recognize what she has done. She really found us our dream house. We cannot imagine anywhere else ON EARTH that would give us what we have here. Our neighborhood is amazing. Our house is perfect for us. We love the park, we love our new friends, the commute, the location of Bari’s new Pediatric dental office, the walking distance to the schools, etc. Everywhere we walk and bike is magic. It is our sweet lovely home.

Bottom-line: this is not only work for Israela. She is coming to make new friends, neighbors, include you in her rich community, if you want. We see her as a friend, and we reach out to her for everything. Just last week she helped us find amazing person that helps us with cooking and meal planning. She starts as a realtor, but gradually becomes your neighbor, friend, and someone that you can trust with anything.

Israela was everything we could have hoped for in a realtor. Our first realtor was rather passive, and we found ourselves missing out on opportunities in an extremely competitive real estate market. After meeting Israela at an open house, we enlisted her help instead, and we are so happy that we did.
