Born in Lima, Peru, Ivan moved to the U.S. at the age of ten and grew up in the Midwest. After attending Briar Cliff University where he played soccer as a student-athlete, Ivan relocated to Los Angeles. Fluent in Spanish, Ivan regularly travels to Barcelona to visit his extended family.

Ivan is a board member of the Rotary Club of Newport-Balboa and likes to stay physically active playing soccer, hiking and spending time outdoors—especially by the ocean
