About J.R.

A third generation REALTOR, J.R. carries a broker’s license and has been selling in the Springfield area since 2010. J.R. and Emily married in 2012. They have two young children Nolan and Anna. Their black lab, Jake, rounds out J.R.’s crew.

J.R. graduated from the Breech School of Business at Drury University in 2001 with a BA in Business Administration. He then spent 2 years in management for Sam’s Club in Minneapolis. That position led to a job in Store Planning. For the next few years J.R. traveled with work as the lead set-up supervisor at Sam’s Clubs in California, Colorado, Arizona, Washington, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Missouri. He even assisted in store planning in Puerto Rico! His positions with Sam’s Club gave him an education in customer service, planning, and knowledge of the construction process. To round out a diverse work history J.R. has also been a lineman for Empire District Electric and Operations Manager for Overhead Door of Springfield. Both jobs gave him valuable information that has helped in his long-term career as a REALTOR.

In 2019 J.R. and team closed eighty transactions approaching $15 million in sales volume and in 2020 we reached over eighteen million in sales volume.
