I met and started working with Jachel about 6 months before I even officially kicked off the home-buying process, my first time purchasing. What immediately stood out to me about working with her was how warm, knowledgeable, and patient she was. I never felt like I was being pushed to do anything or make decisions before I was ready while working with Jachel. We spent the months leading up to kicking off the process to learn more about what homebuying entails, what I was looking for, and learning how to figure out what was affordable for my partner and I. She always took her time giving detailed explanations and everything she said she would do, she always did. She took the time to truly understand not only what my partner and I were looking for, but also what we could actually afford. Her honesty, authenticity, and again, her deep knowledge of homebuying were everything. With her support, I was able to purchase a home that I love and feel excited to start our next chapter in. I truly can’t imagine what my first time purchasing a home would’ve been like if I didn’t get the chance to work with Jachel. If I’m able to, I plan to only work with her and her team from now on! We hit the jackpot when we found Jachel! Jachel is an outstanding realtor because she got to know us and found homes based on what she knew WE would love. She took into consideration our family, our budget and what we were looking for as far as location. Jachel is determined to help her clients in any way possible. When the seller threw us for a loop, Jachel spent her entire weekend coming up with solutions and even finding alternatives in case our first choice didn't work out. It wasn't necessary though because in the end Jachel was able to come up with an innovative solution that worked for both the seller and us as buyers. She got us our dream home! I wanted to take a moment to discuss my experiences with Jachel Smalls, the realtor who helped my wife and I navigate the journey of homeownership in Maryland. We chose Jachel from the NAGLREP website trusting our own instincts after viewing her bio. We lived in Indiana and wanted to move to Baltimore but did not have enough knowledge of the area to make a sound decision nor did we have the opportunity to tour potential homes in person. Jachel is by far the BEST realtor we have ever had. She helped us find and close on a home before we even stepped foot in DC. She made sure to find properties in neighborhoods that fit our lifestyle and houses with the space we needed.
