We don't know where to start. Jack has been in the business a long time and he knows people. It is hard to find great contractors who can help to get houses up to standards for selling. Fear not, Jack knows a lot people who are reasonable with their pricing. We had an offer on our house on the second day and due to Jack's guidance and negotiation skills, we had a contract on the house shortly thereafter. We would recommend Jack to anyone who is either buying or selling in the area. Monica is also on top of things that need to be done and very helpful with any paperwork needed to make real estate transactions possible. Contact them and you will be glad you did.

11/10/2017 - ldcordov67 Sold a Single Family home in 2017 in Central Business District - Downtown, Kansas City, MO. I can't imagine what selling would have been like without Jack. I was in a situation where my downtown loft was extremely tough to sell. Extremely tough. Jack is who listed my unit but he stayed engaged with every showing and other realtors involved to ensure the sale. He didn't just simply list it. Not including the short close time Jack managed to help get my loft off the market in about 3 weeks. Every other unit in my building averaged around 6 months to sell. He did it in 3 WEEKS. Jack was savvy and knew exactly what we needed to do to get it off the market. Although it was from another realtors showing, Jack's involvement sealed the deal. When I bought my loft, I unfortunately had an awful experience with a realtor that was dishonest with me about many things including the state of the building and funding in the HOA. It was horrible and made me feel like I never wanted to buy again. Working with Jack took that sour taste completely out of my mouth. He's been in real estate a long time. Clearly his knowledge of the market, professionalism, and negotiation skills are a huge asset. So, if you're looking to buy/sell in a stress free way...I highly recommend you go to Jack.

04/05/2016 - zs us 3 14 Sold a Single Family home in 2016 in Liberty, MO. We had the great pleasure of working with Jack who helped us sell our home faster than we had imagined. Within a week of our initial consultation with Jack, the home had several offers on it, and once we went under contract, we were actually able to close roughly 2 weeks earlier than expected. He has a long history in the Kansas City area with uncanny knowledge about the market which allowed him to give us very specific advice about what we needed to do to get the house ready to sell within our timeline. Other realtors with less refined senses about the market might have recommended too many improvements to prepare for the sale, committing overkill and causing us to lose money. I was surprised at first at how little Jack thought we needed to do to sell the house, but he was right! It showed like crazy with just a few minor fixes and we got it sold in no time! He also gave us great, honest advice about whether to sell our home or lease it when were still exploring possibilities - even offering at one point to help us secure property management should we be unable to find a buyer. All in all this was the ideal experience for us with a realtor. I will be calling Jack again hopefully in a couple of years when my wife and I purchase another rental property in KC...and I hope he will work with us again! Thanks Jack!

11/06/2016 - lahutt Sold a Single Family home in 2016 in Liberty, MO. My then 89 year-old mother lived in the Kansas City, MO, area and was needing to move from her large 3-bedroom home. We live in Minnesota and contacted Zillow to help her begin the sales process. She is still mentally sharp and alone interviewed and selected Jack Burns as her real estate agent. The house listed in early January, 2015. Jack produced immediate offers and the house sold for her asking price within 10 days and closing happened within 30 days of listing. Now living in healthcare in 2016, and at the age of 91, she had the opportunity to sell her last rental property. She and I both agreed Jack would be the agent of choice even though Jack’s office was approximately 50 miles from her. Jack and I did much of the day-to-day decision-making via e-mail, phone and text between Minnesota and Missouri. When necessary, Jack drove the 100 miles roundtrip to make sure my mother’s business interests were being heard and addressed. Needless to say, Jack again got our asking price within approximately 10 days and the property recently closed, again within approximately 30 days of listing. At closing, Jack drove the roundtrip to get the necessary signatures and made sure the check was deposited in her account. We would unquestionably recommend Jack as a real estate professional. He has a friendly and competent staff, too. WAY TO GO JACK!!!
