Jacob is a licensed real estate broker in Missouri at Waypoint Property Group, formerly, Swinger, REALTORS®, which he acquired from its namesake, Douglas Swinger, in 2024. Jacob began his real estate sales career in February of 2021 and has experienced great success in that time, selling over $15 million in real estate volume to date (February 2025) and helping dozens of buyers, sellers, and investors.
Jacob was born and raised in Marshall where he also invests in long-term and short-term rentals, as well as flip properties. Jacob manages his own investment properties and has begun taking on other property management clients, so he brings value in that arena, too.
Jacob currently (April 2024) has his Accredited Buyer Representative and Pricing Strategy Advisor designations, which are both designations that require additional classes and hours beyond the minimum state licensing requirements. Jacob's commitment to continual learning and improvement is just one trait that sets him apart from the competition.
In his free time, Jacob is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting with his wife, Cara. He and Cara enjoy camping and hiking, visiting places like Alaska and Yellowstone, and loving on their two pups.
Jacob is a tenor in the Marshall Community Chorus and is former President of the Marshall Tourism Commission. He has coached youth soccer off and on and enjoys supporting Marshall High School students in their soccer and baseball games, Ed Rising, and in the music and drama programs.
