Jake is the man! Our house sold first day. We attempted to sell prior to meeting Jake, and the guy couldn't make anything happen for us. Jake came in, gave us advice about staging, got a real photographer in to take pics, and made the entire process seamless. Highly recommended.

I am (was!) a first-time homebuyer, and utterly unequipped for the task. As someone whose eyes glaze over just reading the water bill, the mountains of paperwork and procedure that come with buying a home were just overwhelming for me. Jake managed to make the entire process feel safe. He had so much knowledge about the ins and outs and places where things could go wrong, I never felt worried that I might miss something that would come back to bite me. I think one of the clearest demonstrations of Jake's character and professionalism is the nearly endless network of inspectors/contractors/lenders that he seems to have built over his career. For my home there was a pretty tight turnaround for getting inspections done. The market was white hot from the crazy low interest rates, so all the inspectors I reached out to were booked to the teeth. But of course, Jake had a colleague who was willing to go out on a limb, just to do Jake a favor, and ended up booking and performing the whole inspection in a 72-hour window, even coming on a weekend to do it. There's no way this inspector would have done this for me, but it was clear that he was happy to do it for Jake. If you're looking for someone who is thoughtful, knowledgeable, prompt, professional, someone who will genuinely share in your wins, and do everything he can to help you avoid the losses, look no further.

Jake is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to homes. His background in flipping houses makes him an expert about things you might overlook in buying or selling a home. He has an incredible attention to detail, work ethic, and was always responsive. I especially loved when he took the time to call me (instead of text or email as I experienced with other realtors) every time he had an update for me. I will always use Jake to sell or buy a home in the future. He will absolutely deliver. He even went the extra mile to get me in touch with some very good repairmen after the purchase of my home. The work I’ve had done from his contacts was top notch and extremely affordable. I have very high standards and he exceeded them.

We HIGHLY recommend Jacob as a real estate agent after he recently helped us find and purchase our home. He's extremely familiar with the Portland area housing market and super knowledgeable when it comes to all the little things that one needs to consider when evaluating and purchasing a home. He had answers to all our questions and was highly responsive when whenever we wanted to see a house or ask him something, which made the process really easy. He did a great job of finding homes that fit our needs and was very patient and and never pressured us when we saw homes we didn't like. We know how competitive of a market Portland Oregon is for homebuyers. So to say we were nervous to buy a home is an understatement. Jacob York was nothing short of amazing! Great personality and down to earth. Jake was very easy to talk with and things got sorted out from minute one! We told him we were serious about buying a house. We told him we were very serious about several things we were looking for in a home, and he went to work! We were very nervous as this was our first home buying experience as newly-weds! He did not waste our time looking at houses that did not match our WANTS , he did not try to talk us into a house that would not meet our needs! He simply kept showing us great options until we found the perfect home! Jake did not wast any time! Jake made sure to push everything through and stay in great contact the entire process! Jake also explained to us all the steps in detail so we felt at ease during the entire finalizing phase! Which could be very stressful, however jake really eased that portion for my wife and I! Jake even went as far as putting us in contact with an amazing flooring specialist to finish vinyl flooring the rooms to match rest of house!
