About Jacquelyn

Her lifelong passion for real estate has blossomed into a spectacular career with many varying experiences. As a native Nashvillian, she was born and raised in the Historic City of Franklin, TN. She grew up surrounded by multiple facets of real estate. Her father was in construction supply sales and her mother was Executive Assistant to Edwin B. Raskin at Edwin B. Raskin Company. From a very young age, she felt a strong connection to all thing’s real estate.
She began my professional career in real estate as Executive Lending Assistant to the President of Community South Bank in Spring Hill, TN. Here, with the guidance of her boss and mentor, she built a large portfolio of builders and developers in the Middle Tennessee area. Some of these folks she still works with on the sales side to this day. She is a huge proponent of relationships over transactions. This is one reason she works so diligently to truly get to know and understand her clientele. In 2007, she took a huge leap of faith and left corporate America to fully focus on building her real estate sales career. Being a people person, she was able to quickly immerse herself into the social and business aspects of real estate sales. She spent her first years as a REALTOR® on one of the most successful RE/MAX teams in Middle TN. She embraced this experience, as she was mentored by some of the best agents in the industry. She credits them today with her success and ability to sustain her real estate business, even though the toughest economic times. Don’t get me wrong, she struggled through the recession. However, she was determined to succeed and shifted her business focus to investment real estate. She quickly became an expert on processing short sales, flipping houses and assisting struggling homeowners through the horrific market they faced from 2007 to 2012. Going forward, this experience shaped her business into what it has become today.
In 2015, she noticed an investment market shift in Middle TN. House prices were rapidly increasing and the inventory was beginning to decline. At this point, she decided to expand her business to Northwest Florida. She means, why not work in paradise, right?! Throughout her life, she vacationed in several of the awesome beach towns along the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida, but Panama City Beach owned a big piece of her heart. She ultimately took another leap of faith and decided to expand her business to Florida. The one thing she does not initially realize is that Tennessee does not offer reciprocity with Florida, so she had to start back at square one with pre-licensing courses, state testing and eventually post-licensing courses. Whew, this was a doozie! As an almost 10-year tenured agent in TN, there was a LOT I had to learn & ultimately retrain her brain to understand in FL real estate. She spent the better part of 2016 learning FL real estate rules, regulations, laws, and the specifics of the market. To this day, she is extremely thankful that she took this time before opening operations and eventually moving to Panama City Beach. It enabled her to hit the ground running as soon as her got here. Since moving to Florida, she has continued to focus on investment real estate, but she shifted the focus a tad too short-term rental investment. She found this particular investment opportunity fascinating and rapidly rewarding for her investors. She honestly hasn’t found a better investment in any facet of finance.
Throughout her career, she has earned multiple prestigious awards for sales goals & production. However, as rewarding as the sales aspect has been for her over the past 15+ years, one of the most rewarding aspects of her career has been becoming a Certified Mentor within eXp Realty. To date, she has trained dozens of the most successful agents in Middle TN & NW FL. She looks forward to training many more!
