Jake was great to work with during our purchase. Purchasing from another city made it difficult for us to view competitively priced listings before they were sols. When we saw a listing one we really wanted he drove there himself and took videos for us the same day as there which was clutch as there were already about 10 offers. He somehow convinced the sellers we'd be very easy to work with and we got the listing for $6000 LESS than the highest offer! I highly recommend him without hesitation.

My wife & I had the the pleasure of working with Jake to purchase a home in the West Suburbs (Glen Ellyn). Jake helped us navigate the process from more than 700 miles away by effectively & consistently communicating with us through each step of the process and always making time for us when we had the chance to look in-person. During the house hunting phase, he counselled us on different towns & neighborhoods, and helped us better understand the market we were trying to buy into. During negotiations, he served as an effective advocate for our interests and always maintained a professional, respectful, and ethical demeanor in interacting with prospective sellers. As a result, the purchasing process was amicable and smooth, with the selling party & their agent happy to respectfully engage on any issues that arose. Jake also guided us to similarly helpful vendors (e.g. Attorney, title, etc.) and ensured our use of a VA Loan was no hindrance to the purchasing process.

Post-closing, Jake has been in regular contact to ensure there were no issues with the move or paperwork and has provided useful advice as an agent, and native/current resident to help us to quickly turn our house into a home. We cannot say enough about how great it was to work with Jake and highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home in the area.

Jake was introduced to us by my brother who had worked with him multiple times over the last couple years, and now I see why.

As first time homebuyers, my partner and I didn’t know much about the process or where to level our expectations. Jake not only did all the things we would expect from an agent like sending us listings, giving his option on areas of the city, doing showings and putting offers together, but so much more. He (patiently) walked me thought the entire process, made introductions to lenders/insurance brokers, was extremely responsive no matter the hour of day, and was an absolute pleasure to work with.

I would highly recommend Jake for any homebuyer looking for an extremely experienced, yet personable agent. We always felt like a priority.

We sold our multifamily 2-flat in West Town and purchased a single-family townhome through Jake. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Selling: Jake came prepared with fantastic comps and advice on how best to approach the sale during an interesting time in the market. He had fantastic referrals on real estate attorney (who we ended up using on our purchase as well). He was incredibly consistent in communication at any point, and we always knew he had our best interests in mind.

Buying: At every open house we went to Jake was on top of the information: reserves, comps, and history of the property when it comes to price, adjustments and any context. Jake was always polished and professional with a fantastic knowledge of the areas we looked in was happy to dig for any questions we had about the HoA or general area.

We will continue to be using Jake for any personal home upgrades as well as investment properties in the future.

Jake helped me sell my home in Little Italy, Chicago in February 2023. He came with extensive knowledge about the area and comparable price points, and we ended up selling quickly at our list price. Jake helped my wife and I move from a rental into a 3 unit house hack. As a beginner wanting to learn more about real estate investing, Jake was really generous with both his time and knowledge. He sent me dozens of potential deals and helped me analyze the deals I found. Jake gave great advice and was really patient with us as we looked a number of properties until we found the perfect place. Once we found a great property, Jake advised us on our offer and enabled ours to be accepted over several other offers on the property. Jake and his partner Michael were extremely accommodating and responsive when I was looking for a rental property for my 1031 exchange last year. Jake sent me multiple investment options, both on and off market, and Michael was very gracious with his time, spending a full day showing us properties in the Tri-Taylor and Pilsen neighborhoods. Although we ultimately did not purchase one of their investments, they've continued to keep me on their distribution list and are very responsive to my emails. I'm very confident that I will be able to do business with them one day.

If you're looking for a home or investment property, Jake would make an excellent resource for you, both with showing/analyzing properties, but also connecting you to a good lender.

emphasize the positive points. I was looking for a 2-4 unit property that I could 'house hack' and having

Jake took care of us really well. His communication was great, he was very responsive, and his knowledge of the entire process really put our family at ease. The house was empty while on the market and Jake would stop by frequently to check on it and make sure nothing was out of place. He was always available to answer any question we had during the sale and spent a lot of time understanding our needs. During the open houses he would gather any feedback about the house and relay it back to us. I had the opportunity to work with Jake on finding my first property - a house hack in Avondale. Jake was incredibly helpful every step of the way - from setting expectations through closing. As a first-time investor, Jake was awesome in answering my questions and getting me set up. Thanks to his advice, I was able to come away with some great sellers credit to minimize my cash to close. Jake has my highest recommendation for anyone who is looking to purchase a property in the Chicagoland area. Not only does he respond promptly and has in depth knowledge of the area, he has some amazing references for people who can help in the entire process (attorneys, lenders, property managers, home inspectors.. you name it and he is sure to know at least one rockstar company if not many). He has a really great work ethic and the patience of a saint. Although I gained some understanding of how real estate investments work by reading books, as a new investor, it took me some time to develop and understanding of how to practically analyze deals and pick right strategy for beginning my investment journey.
