About Jake

Who is Jake Kurtz? He wears many hats – full time Real Estate Advisor with Engel & Völkers, father, husband, volunteer firefighter and motorsports enthusiast. As a Real Estate Advisor, he brings a ton of life lessons and experiences into his career. He was raised by a hard-working blue-collar family. He was surrounded by skilled people working in many different trade professions. He has learned that sometimes you need to get your hands dirty and figure out how to get something to work through your own persistence and perseverance. He has learned that building rapport and trust with clients is so very important. He has been self-employed more than half his life. It does not come easy but when you are more dedicated, motivated, and hardworking than anyone else your work does not become just another day at the office it turns into a way of life. His other full-time job is keeping up with his two young and energetic girls and it is absolutely a joy. He is so lucky to be husband to his wife, Andi Jo. She helps him focus on the big picture and keeps him striving to be better. To keep him grounded, he is also a volunteer firefighter in Lino Lakes. He gets so much from giving back to the great community he lives in. When he does get to some free time, he has a passion for basically anything that has a motor in it. He enjoys racing snowmobiles in the winter to road course racing cars in the summertime. The competition keeps him pushing to exceed in every aspect of life, from his family, faith to work. He is excited to be a part of the next chapter of your life as your full time Real Estate Advisor.
