On the buying side, Jim does a great job of walking you through the whole process, from start to finish. He was always prompt, flexible with scheduling showings, and thorough with paperwork. He followed up often, helped us formulate our THOUGHTS on what we were looking for, without steering our FEELINGS about any given home. This is a talent, and we saw it in action!

After buying, we immediately put our previous home on the market, and it sold within a few months. Such a process is always unnerving, but Jim steered us through, keeping us informed at least weekly (and typically every few days) on any and all matters. We had a difficult time with one offer on the home that fell through (it was a lowball!). Jim buoyed up our spirits, and gave us the courage to hold out for a better offer. Our patience and Jim's persistence paid off, and we got our asking price!

Jim Altene has been working with my husband and myself to find a new home in the Detroit area. He couldn’t be more helpful. If I text him a question, he always answers immediately. He’s shown us several homes, but we haven’t found the right one yet. He never puts pressure on us. Instead, he’s supportive and says we’ll find the right home. I enjoy looking at the homes his search engine finds for us and hope to find the perfect property soon so we can relocate.

When I started my home search, I didn’t think I needed to bother with getting assistance. I called Jim on a referral and WOW! I don’t think I could have done it without him. He’s rich in knowledge and eager to be available for questions and help. For being as busy as Jim is he still manages to answer every call even on weekends or at night. He is very tech savvy and can look up property lines or mortgage estimates as you walk through different homes. I highly recommend Jim and actually have recommended him to multiple friends and family.
