My boyfriend and I decided to buy our first home back in November of 2015. We of course were very optimistic and a bit naive about what we could and couldn't afford. James really helped us in a polite and straight forward way to see what we could afford. He was always available to speak with us about anything that we needed and even when nothing was going on, would occasionally check in just to be sure everything was going well. Had a great experience with James. He was our realtor when we listed our fixer-upper (it needed a lot of work, but was in a great location). Although we listed it high, he got lots of people looking at it, and helped us navigate dropping the price over the following months. In the end, we decided to take it off the market, spend a month fixing a bunch of the major issues, and then re-list it (again with James). James was with us through the whole process, always very responsive to emails/texts/phone calls, and kept in contact with potential buyer, letting them know we'd be re-listing it. James went out of his way to make me and my wife feel comfortable the entire process of finding and purchasing a home.
