James Berenato

Mr. Berenato has responsibilities which include oversight of the property management and leasing departments, asset management and investor reporting. Additionally, Mr. Berenato works on strategic planning and the identification, financing and closing of real estate acquisitions.

Prior to joining AMC Delancey in 2012, Mr. Berenato worked for Grosvenor Fund Management in their accounting and finance department. While in his previous role, Mr. Berenato was responsible for property and investment accounting, ensuring the delivery of annual audits and preparing investment track record reports. During his time at Grosvenor, Mr. Berenato completed a four month assignment working for Grosvenor’s parent company, Grosvenor Group Limited, as a Corporate Finance Analyst in London. Prior to Grosvenor, Mr. Berenato worked in the Investment Management and Real Estate Assurance Practice of PwC’s Philadelphia office.

Mr. Berenato is a licensed real estate broker in Pennsylvania and a member of the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Berenato earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from LaSalle University, a Master of Business Administration degree with Concentrations in Finance and International Business from Saint Joseph’s University, and has completed coursework at The University of Pennsylvania Wharton School’s Aresty Institute of Executive Education.
