James Brophy

James Brophy, a native of Myrtle Beach, SC, has seen The Grand Strand transform over the past 47 years; from a sleepy beach town that closed down in the winter, to the second fasting growing metropolitan area in the country. After earning a BS in Economics at USC he returned home, to partner with his father to design and build a flagship floor-covering business. He, along with his father and sister worked with clients in both commercial and residential properties. James has over 30 years of experience partnering with clients and products related to the home. His draw to real estate was a natural progression after influencing many family members from Philadelphia, and the New Jersey area to move South; to enjoy all the beach has to offer, and a better quality of life. James is driven to provide his clients with a partner that offers integrity, warmth, and attention to detail as they navigate the journey together, to find the place they will call home. He is the ultimate host, James loves to cook for his family and close friends. He grew up on the beach, he enjoys spending time in, and on the water, playing tennis, taking annual road-trips with his wife and two daughters up north, and vacationing at their family summer cottage in Canada.
