James Budziak

James Budziak earned his BBA in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University in 1990. He has been a Licensed Builder since 1996 and a Licensed Realtor for 10+ years. With more than two decades of experience buying and selling real estate in Southeast Michigan, James has worked with a variety of business models and partners. In 2017, he founded his own independent company, FPJ Investments LLC - a Detroit-based business now operating from its new location on Mack Avenue.

James’s professional background spans from building entire subdivisions to supporting communities in exercising their Right of First Refusal during County Tax Sales. He is especially proud of his work with the nonprofit organization Southwest Solutions, where he helps acquire bank-owned properties, renovate them, and sell them to owner-occupants. His extensive experience in home remodeling gives him a competitive edge when evaluating properties and identifying ways to maximize their value.

James finds real estate deeply rewarding. Whether he’s helping a client find the perfect home for their family or working to stabilize neighborhoods, he is passionate about making a positive impact through his work.
