James V. Clarke, President of the Robertson team, brings nearly four decades of experience in the real estate and construction industries. Throughout his career, he has played a vital role in the company's operations, navigating both periods of tremendous success and challenging times.
He takes great pride in steering the company through the Great Recession and back to profitability. However, he’s most proud of the talented employees he works with daily and the projects they’ve envisioned and built together.
James graduated from Michigan State University in 1980 with a Graduate Bachelor of Science degree and a degree in Building Construction Management. He is an active member of several organizations, including the Home Builders Association of SE Michigan, the Urban Land Institute, the Real Estate Roundtable, the National Association of Home Builders, Lighthouse of Pontiac, Path Board, and serves as a Vestry Member of Christ Church Cranbrook. Outside of work, he enjoys biking, boating, and spending quality time with his family.
