James Cormier

A REALTOR® for over forty years, Jim is the President and Broker of Building Sites, Inc., specializing in new construction and land development. Enthusiastic about NAR, Jim is currently serving as the National Director. Jim previously served as Federal Political Coordinator for Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District. He is a member of the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame and a part of the Golden “R” and President’s Circles. The Minnesota Association of REALTORS® elected him President in 2013. Jim previously served on the Executive, Finance, and Nominating Committees—all of which he has chaired in the past. He is a MNAR RPAC Trustee.

The North Metro REALTORS® Association elected Jim as President in 2001. He also served on the Board of Directors and on the Executive, Finance, and Government Affairs Committees. A leader in his local community, Jim serves on the Board of Directors for the Mercy and Unity Hospital Foundation as well as serving on the University of Minnesota Foundation and the Golden Dunkers Basketball Booster Club. He and his wife, Madonna, have two black labs, Bosco and Biggins.
