I am a resident of Lely Resort (Lely Island Estates) and have owned at least one home here since 2009. I love this area, and I am eager to share my perspective on it with you. After buying and selling three Lely homes in the past decade, I was motivated to bring my experiences on that side of the transaction to bear.
Prior to embarking on this second career, I spent over two decades in sales, marketing, and product development in the higher education sphere. I built successful teams at firms ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, managing teams as large as 160+ staff and enterprises with nearly $400 million in annual revenue. I held titles such as National Sales Manager, Sr. Vice President, and Marketing Director, and more importantly, I was fortunate to meet, work with, and become friends with some amazing colleagues, customers, and collaborators all around the country and the world. Higher education—beginning with my BA cum laude from Cornell University—opened doors for this native of rural western Pennsylvania in ways I could never have imagined.
The two keys that underpinned all of my professional accomplishments are also the foundation of my approach to Lely area real estate:
1. Customer-centricity. It is never about me. It is about the client. What is right for his or her goals, desires, dreams, etc.? What is the best route to get there for the client? Even if this were not ingrained in my professional DNA, my active and visible presence around Lely multiplies my desire to have you as a happy client and neighbor!
2. Listening. If you tell me you prefer contact via email or text rather than phone, I am not going to initiate calls with you. If you only want to hear about Lely homes for sale on the weekend, I won’t bug you during the week. If you are sure you want a lake view, I am not going to show you properties without one.
