What can I say other than Jim is Fantastic! I initially met Jim thru a friend of mine when I was selling my home, he found the right buyer for my situation and the house sold in a very short time period. Fast forward a couple years and he has helped us find another home in the perfect neighborhood that we absolutely love. His knowledge of Pinellas county is enormous, plus he knows everyone! If I need anything, he is able to provide referrals which is priceless.
So another 2 years from this review Jim found us the perfect place again! This house was not even on the market yet! He knew the type of place we were looking for and delivered…again! Thank you Jim!

We met with Jim the 2nd week of March based on recommendations from knowledgeable friends. He advised us that it was an excellent time to sell our home, since we were already considering downsizing and moving to be closer to family. Jim started working with me at least a year before I actually bought a house. He showed me many houses. By the time I was really super ready to buy he knew exactly what I wanted. I got a great house for a great price in the perfect neighborhood. Jim also helped us acclimate to the neighborhood and recommended electricians, landscapers, etc. I don't think anybody knows the Historic Kenwood area better than Jim.

Jim is an excellent realtor. We bought our first home with him, and at first were wary of everyone involved in the process, as we've heard plenty of stories about bad home-buying experiences. Jim gained our trust very quickly, and was always very open and honest with us. He's really knowledgeable about St. Pete, and helped us pinpoint the neighborhoods we were interested in. He quickly learned our preferences and was able to suggest great homes for us to view. He was there for us and our millions of questions throughout the entire process. While we were doing drive-bys and investigating Kenwood as a possible place to live, Jim approached us and asked if he could help. Boy did he help! Over the next several months we came back to St Petersburg several times searching for exactly what we wanted in a home. Jim showed me a house that I didn’t mark on the list of houses he gave me because he thought I must have overlooked it. He was right and that’s the house I made an offer on and was accepted. I was on vacation in St. Petersburg from Washington state and Jim kept me informed very step of the way. His caring personality made it easy even though I was 3000 miles away. Jim is a friendly, very professional and knowledgeable realtor. His approach to finding us the right house showed that he is an excellent listener and communicator, with a good sense of humor. When we moved to St Petersburg, we had very little experience with the city. He not only showed us properties, but drove us all over the city to give us a good overview of everything, to explain each neighborhood relative to our interests, and also took time to show us or explain things that would appeal to us as new residents of St Petersburg. Because our ideal house was comparable to a needle in a haystack, he encouraged us to look at homes and neighborhoods that were beyond the scope of our starting wish list, but might give us most of what we were looking for. Every appointment was another occasion to learn something new about the city or neighborhood, so nothing was every a waste of time. Ultimately Jim showed us a good home in a neighborhood that we hadn't considered. It was a better fit for us than what we thought was our best option. He negotiated our offer effectively with the sellers' realtor before we signed the contract. Jim continued to keep us on track with our lender with all of the actions that lead up to the closing, as well as the things that have to be done after closing. We feel that we were very fortunate that we were given a referral to Jim.
