A native San Franciscan, Jim Maloney’s interest in real estate began when he moved to San Rafael with his wife, Sherry, in 1987. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s College of California and an MBA from San Francisco State University, and he has an extensive background in accounting, finance, and corporate investment management with multiple Bay Area companies. In 2004, Jim decided to leverage his business experience, genial personality, and love of architecture to pursue a career in real estate. He quickly distinguished himself as an efficient and effective agent, becoming a founding partner of Front Porch Realty Group in 2009.

Always giving back to his community, Jim coached Catholic Youth Organization basketball and Dixie-Terra Linda baseball and soccer for many years. He also served as a volunteer firefighter and commissioner with the Marinwood Fire Department. Jim enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his sons, Casey and Kevin, as they carve out their own path in the world.
