Born and raised in Beaumont and have been living in Lumberton for the past 13 years. James went to school in Beaumont attending a local grade school, went to high school at Msgr. Kelly High and then to Lamar University graduating with a business degree in accounting. James worked in the accounting field for 12 years before starting his real estate career in 1999. James has been married for over 25 years to Capri McCrate who is part of his team and holds a broker’s license. James has two children, his son Easton, currently in his third year at Texas A & M in College Station and his daughter Grace, a senior at Lumberton High school. When not working, he enjoys spending time at home with his family and friends. He enjoys workings with people and helping them with finding their first or next home.
