Jimmy Neese was actively involved in the development of Neese Real Estate when it began in 1984, and has been the owner and president for the past twelve years. Jimmy has professional memberships in local, state and national boards of REALTORS© and is also a member of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce, an alumnus of Leadership Shoals, Board Member Alabama Preservation Alliance, and is a a candidate for CCIM.
In addition to residential home sales, Jimmy develops and leases commercial property for corporations of all sizes. Recent projects have involved mix use development of commercial and residential lofts.
Jimmy was honored for his community involvement and revitalization of the downtown Florence area by being voted Shoals Area Citizen of the Year for 1999-2000. He received The Capital Award, in recognition of outstanding efforts in historic preservation by Heritage Preservation, Inc. He has a strong commitment to the restoration of older buildings and the revitalization of the downtown area.
Jimmy believes that since the company is the leader in the residential and commercial real estate market, the people who make up the company must set an example of leadership in the community. As a result, Jimmy serves on the advisory boards of several not-for-profit organizations involved in religious or civic services to improve the Shoals. Jimmy's goal is to build on the tradition of excellence to clients, the community and the real estate profession which has elevated Neese Real Estate, Inc. to its position as a leader in the Shoals real estate marketplace.
