James T. Speight, III is a native Washingtonian and has resided in the DC/Metropolitan Area for more than 40 years. His knowledge of housing trends and community development gives him a keen insight to the issues that encompass the home buying/selling experience. James formerly held the position of Director of Affordable Housing Development for a local not for profit developer, which has allowed him to gain myriad experiences including financing, permitting, construction, landlord and tenant regulations, and contract negotiation to name a few.

Incredible. His knowledge of the area was impeccable and the greatest advice was getting a home inspection. We did not know any and he was able to provide quality home inspectors at extremely reasonable cost. These guys saved us the many mistakes buyers could make in the dreaded DC house flip market. They found hidden issues on three properties that would have been a huge burden for my family. From termites, illegal additions, unsupported attic bathrooms, to various code violations. We owe Jay Soeight a great deal of gratitude for his professionalism, industry knowledge, and contacts. He was responsive to all of my wife's questions and met us at multiple properties at a moments notice. Can't thank him enough!
