The two met when Jim showed one of Tim’s commercial listings in early Spring 2018 and as they say, “the rest was history.” Jim represents buyers/sellers, tenants, property owners, investors, executives and small to midsize current and future business owners in the CRE field. Jim is a gifted agent who has a wide range of networks and talents in the industry which includes new construction, residential, multifamily, and mixed-use developments as well as a diverse range of commercial property experience including development/redevelopment, industrial/warehouse, auto related, agricultural/raw land, lakeshore & lakeshore development, hospitality, retail, and office. Jim is an active or former roving board member and consultant to several small Twin City and Minnesota businesses as well as several national start-up companies in the industries of Executive Consulting & Job Transition, Hydrology, Hospitality, Retail & Housewares, Nursing, Capital/Finance, Technology and Manufacturing.

As a valuable member of various boards of directors, he energetically supports the common goals of success, providing network and business opportunities, education, business planning support, marketing, and creative solution advice for these successful business ventures as it relates not only to their business operations but also to the real estate aspect of their businesses. Jim Starr is a superstar! He did a great job on marketing and selling our house - it sold for above our asking price on the first weekend! Jim was also very helpful with advice on staging and painting a few rooms prior to the listing. 10/10 would use again!

Jim Starr is very professional, but still a down to earth person. He is very easy to work with and very knowledgeable. He gives great advice and gives many options on how to, and when to make your own decisions. I would recommend him to everyone.
