James Toon

Jim’s roots are firmly planted in NW Ohio as he grew up in South Toledo and is a graduate of Bowsher High School. He went on to the University of Toledo where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering and further continued his education at Spring Arbor University with a Master’s degree in Organizational Management.

Before beginning his real estate career, Jim had over 15+ years in the commercial construction industry as a Project Manager. All of that experience complemented his career shift to the buying and selling of real estate. Beginning in 2008, mentored by his Mother, Jeannie, Jim shifted into his new career and hasn’t stopped yet! Jim, as mentioned by several clients, is best described as “knowledgeable”, “attentive to details” “outstanding” and “fun”. His philosophy is whether buying or selling a home, it should be a positive experience and as stress free as possible. That’s why over 85% of his client base are repeat or referral clients. Jim is a Life Member of the NW Ohio REALTORS (NOR) Million Dollar Club, Ohio REALTOR and National Assoc. of Realtors. He is an integral part of the Danberry Company, a locally owned brokerage firm. The Danberry Company is ranked 285th nation wide and achieved 4435 in transactions in and obtaining over 1 billion in sales volume in 2024, according to RealTrends.

Jim and his wife, Lynn, have made Perrysburg their home for 25+ years and are blessed with four children. They enjoy being active in all their varied activities and are parishioners of St. John 23rd Church in Perrysburg, Ohio where Jim is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
