Our son recommended Jim to us. Jim had previously worked with other family members in buying their house and our son was truly impressed with Jim. He said he wanted us to use an honest and reputable realtor, especially since we didn't live in the area. He help us make the initial contact with Jim while visiting in Florida. Even on such short notice, Jim was very responsive. Jim went above and beyond our expectations while we were there and able to look at property as well as when we returned home. I found him to be very friendly and determined to satisfy our (almost unrealistic) goals. After numerous showings, we found the perfect home in a great neighborhood that we most likely would have never found on our own. He scheduled viewings within 24 hours, and he showed me homes within My price range and requirements. Because I wanted a home with a water view, there were few homes in my price range but he delivered on all aspects. He scheduled viewings of re sales and also new homes. After viewing 15 plus homes, I decided that a new home was what I wanted. He did not rush me and was most helpful dealing with the developer and offered great advise. Jim, was extremely valuable from listening to what our expectations were from a cost perspective to home type and community. He minimized our time in searching for the home we were looking for. Jim, also took very good notes while meeting with our builder and recognized some discounting that was initially promised as well as some structural agreements that were later not recalled by builder. This enable us the savings discount that was initially promised. Jim, because of his time and experience in the business was also instrumental in his negotiating skills to recognize opportunities in builder discounting which led to further savings. 10/15/2015 - Sold a Condo home in 2015 for approximately $250K in Estero, FL. Jim worked with my family in a long distance and local forum. My mother recently moved to a retirement community in Naples (from Estero) but her entire family is in Ohio. We stay connected by coming to visit. We decided as a family to sell Estero and buy in Naples, to continue our means to stay together as much as possible. We met Jim basically by phone and email, and then in person briefly. He actually lives in our Estero neighborhood, which made coordinating a breeze. He went well above and beyond what I would expect any real estate broker to ever do with almost every aspect of both the sale of our condo and the soon to be purchase of our new home. He has contacts with just about anything one would need, from renovation contractors, to moving groups to landscapers and even restaurant recommendations. He seamlessly coordinated everything with us, even though we were in Ohio most of the time. He actually sold our Estero condo before it even got on the market!! And though it is quick, we found a new home and hopefully will be closing by the end of the month. Our situation is not unique, but it is a challenge as as a family we are purchasing a new home with both individuals and Trusts involved. Jim has made every effort to help us along the way. His title team is friendly and courteous and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and well informed. At the sale of our Estero condo, we were not available and Jim walked us through the entire process from a distance. The buyers felt one room was not clean to their expectations and Jim actually went over to our condo and cleaned it himself to preserve everyone's integrity and happiness.!! His powers of negotiations and faith and passion for what he does showed through with everything he did for us. Though in a sales driven industry that often has a reputation for dishonesty and shenanigans, Jim has none of that. He truly directed us to what he felt was the absolute best choice for our family and no matter what direction we would have gone on both the sell or buy side, we felt the comfort of his wisdom and kindness of his heart.
