We liked that she is experienced and opinionated, though never bossy. She has an excellent eye for physical detail and quickly got a good sense of what we liked and didn't like. We made a bid on one property that we didn't get, and throughout that process, her advice was sound. She simply gave us the information we needed to make a fair bid, and when pressured (by the seller's agent) to increase it, it was reassuring that she counseled us against doing so. Shortly thereafter, we found the house that we eventually bought. We actually saw it at an open house, and when we told her how much we liked it, she accompanied us on short notice the next day to help us reevaluate. It was very helpful having her guide us through the bidding process, because although we'd purchased a home before, we didn't have a good feeling for how to bid and what kinds of concessions to ask for in this real estate climate. After our bid was selected, Jamie came along on the home inspection, helped me get estimates for repairs, and was very effective at negotiating a compromise with the sellers. She was also helpful in managing the situation when our lender failed to guarantee financing by our financing contingency date (stricter lending rules had slowed the process down). All in all, working with Jamie was a very positive experience, and we recommend her to anyone.

We had the feeling that the real estate agents thought that they were those who’d know the right price of the house and would not defend a higher listing price to a buyer’s agent if it’s not what they all expected based on the sale prices of houses with a same model, regardless to the fact that our house was much more beautifully remodeled. Not with Jamie. My wife and I each made up our minds independently even before the interview with Jamie ended. She clearly appreciated our house, saw its value, restored completely our confidence, and we know in our guts she’d stand and defend it. She spent hours taking pictures of the house, more patient than we were, came back a couple of times to catch the house with the right sun light, prepared a beautiful brochure and sold it for top dollars within a week.
