This realtor is an absolute GEM! Because we are out-of-state and buying sight unseen, we have needed much more than the average home buyer needs in specific details. The house was on the market longer than we would have liked, but that was more the economy than Jan's fault, The house was advertise and shown frequently, Jan was a very good communicator and seemed to have good rapport with fellow realtors and agents. Although all were no doubt competent, Jan stood out immediately because of her thorough knowledge of our area, and multiple successes in this market. Jan sold our home during a very difficult time in the marketplace and also managed to find exactly what we were looking for in a new home. She is a tireless worker who literally will work night and day for you, returning calls and emails without delay. She showed us scores and scores of homes in our first (higher) price range and then, when our circumstances changed and we needed a less expensive home, she gladly showed us the best she could find in that price range, always keeping in mind the criteria we had listed. Jan is also highly knowledgeable and experienced, skills you really want in an agent who's helping you sell your house or choose your future one. While searching for homes she often pointed out details we would have overlooked (and we've been around the block a time or two!), both positive and not-so-positive. If she didn't have an answer (a rare phenomenon!) she did the research and got it. On top of all that, she's a joy to work with and will become a friend not just an agent. Here's the best I can say about Jan: if any of our grown kids needed a real estate agent to help them sell or buy property I would want them to be in Jan's hands, knowing she would take care of them as if they were her own. Jan Rich is a true professional realtor and has my highest recommendation for anyone seeking to purchase a home. I live in San Diego and wanted to relocate to Washington so I used Zilliow to locate a property I was interested in. Jan went to the property and gave me an honest assessment and I determined that I needed to find a different place. I then located another property 70 miles away and Jan went there to inspect it for me. In Jan’s opinion she felt my wife and I would be happy buying that home so we started the process of purchasing the home sight unseen putting our trust in Jan’s experience to make homeownership a reality. Although we did eventually get to visit the property before closing and found that is was everything we dreamed it would be we also determined that everything Jan told us about the home was true and we then knew in our hearts that we not only found a trustworthy realtor but also someone who’s of high professional character.
