Jane has been fortunate to call Santa Cruz County her home since childhood. It is an amazingly diverse area, both geographically and culturally, and because of this it takes a long time to get to know it well from a real estate standpoint. She's been selling real estate at Monterey Bay Properties continuously and full time since 1987. She's been involved in all phases of real estate sales in Santa Cruz County as both a listing and selling agent for residential, investment properties, including apartment complexes, as well as lots and land, and facilitated 1031 exchanges for both herself and clients. She developed a broad network and good working relationships with a variety of specialists that pertain to the purchase or sale of real property. Jane is married to a general contractor who owns his own company, Jon Badeaux Construction, and have two other general contractors in her immediate family. Before becoming a real estate agent, she was a registered nurse for 8 years. Many skills she obtained as a nurse/counselor/educator has been able to transfer to various aspects of a real estate career: listening and working with people and being a successful negotiator go hand and hand. It has been important to her from the beginning of her career to meet her clients needs to the best of her abilities, and to know that when they have closed escrow, they are satisfied and feel that they have been well represented.
