About Janet

When I started in real estate in 1998, I never imagined the career it would become. I have now been a REALTOR® for more than 28 years, serving clients throughout Lincoln County, North Carolina, and the Lake Norman real estate market. This journey has allowed me to help my own family and thousands of other families buy and sell real estate, guiding them through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
Caring for my clients begins with education. Exceptional real estate service starts by continually educating myself and my team on the local real estate market, pricing trends, evolving technology, and North Carolina real estate laws. This commitment ensures our clients receive accurate information, strategic guidance, and clear communication throughout every stage of the real estate transaction.
Our team is made up of dedicated real estate professionals, each serving our clients based on individual skill sets and areas of expertise. I serve as a Designated Seller’s Agent, focusing primarily on the seller side of real estate transactions—from professional property presentation and strategic pricing to skilled negotiation and guiding sellers through closing and beyond. Susan Ritter is a Designated Buyer’s Agent, focused on delivering a confident, informed buyer experience. Jennifer Cannon is a Licensed North Carolina Broker, serving both buyers and sellers, and also acts as the Office Manager and Property Management Coordinator for RE/MAX Lifestyle.

We inherited a home in Lincolnton that we needed to sell. We're from out-of-state and were not familiar with the local market and hadn't bought or sold a house in many years. We needed a local market expert with solid experience in all phases of home sale. Janet Cox and her team exceeded all of our expectations.

Janet and her staff showed their deep experience in all phases of the home-sale process: market analysis, home preparation and staging, marketing, showing, and, most importantly for us, negotiating and closing the sale.

We got multiple offers and a higher price than projected by other brokers. We sold faster than expected. Negotiations were handled professionally with no drama and great results. Janet and team arranged for home repair, seller inspections, lawn care, and removal of household goods - this was extremely helpful to us as absentee sellers.

For us, there is no substitute for experience. Janet Cox and her team are experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. They should be your go-to real estate team when buying or selling a home in Lincoln County and surrounding areas.

Janet and team are amazing! I was responsible for selling my late father’s home from out of state (I live in Massachusetts). She made a very difficult process extremely easy and seamless for myself and my family. Janet is extremely communicative, knowledgeable, and truly cares about her clients. I‘m so thankful to have found her! I would highly recommend her to anyone…you will not be disappointed.
