Janet Howard

Janet Howard has an extensive background in real estate in Savannah that spans over 10 years. She launched her career in sales with Ben Farmer Realty and in 2009 she earned her Broker's license and affiliated with Konter Realty. She quickly became a top sales associate and was awarded numerous designations and certifications that established her as an industry leader.

In 2012 Ms. Howard was one of a select group to be accepted into and graduate from Leadership Savannah a civic program designed to prepare and challenge future leaders to impact their communities. She has been recognized by Georgia's African American Leadership Institute for promoting professionalism in young males in the community. In 2011 Ms. Howard was voted Best Real Estate Agent by the Reader's Choice Awards in Savannah and also received the Outstanding Member Award from the Savannah Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors.

Her passion to inspire other real estate professionals led her to study and graduate from Georgia Realtors Leadership Academy focusing on industry and association management and in 2015 Janet obtained her Georgia Real Estate Instructor's license. This has allowed her to share her knowledge and educate the next generation of real estate professionals.

Ms. Howard is a remarkable example of leadership and service to the real estate industry. In addition to volunteering locally Ms. Howard sits on several state committees and continues to expand her goals to advance the real estate profession. In 2018 Ms. Howard was elected to the office of President for the Savannah Area Realtors Association an organization that boasts a membership of over 2000. She is a current Board Member of the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association and a past President of The Savannah Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors.
