Janice Schaaf joined Engel & Völkers in 2018 with both her California and Nevada Real Estate Licenses. Her 19 years in the real estate marketplace representing Buyers and Sellers, along with her 6 years’ experience as a Sr. Loan Officer & Mortgage Advisor, offers her clients in-depth knowledge of the industry and the Lake Tahoe region. After growing up in New York and attending a local university, Janice moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where she began her career in administration & marketing for several emerging computer companies in Silicon Valley. Janice then ventured into Sales & Marketing for SmithKline Beecham, as a Regional Sales Manager for the clinical laboratory division. Working as a sales manager and training specialist, Janice left her highly successful Fortune 100 career and moved to London with her new husband and lived abroad for the next 4 years. Upon returning to the San Francisco Bay Area, while raising her three sons, Janice worked within the community for several not-for-profit organizations. Real estate was always her passion and in 2006, Janice obtained her real estate license and began her second highly successful career in real estate. Janice and her family moved to Lake Tahoe full time after spending many prior years in the area with her family's second home in Incline Village. As a local resident, Janice is an active member in several community organizations, while enjoying every opportunity to focus on the beauty and varied sporting activities available in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
