Jan Smith, a consistently recognized top producer on the Chicago real estate scene just celebrated 21 years in the industry. She began her career in marketing and advertising for Playboy Magazine. After her son, Patrick started school, Jan decided to give real estate a “whirl”, in the early days of Bucktown and Wicker Park. Luck was on her side and she secured her first sale during her first week on the job, and was instantly hooked. Seven years later, Jan made a leap of faith and opened her own boutique real estate firm, J A Smith Assoc Inc.
