Janis Hennessy

Janis Hennessy is consistently ranked amongst the top agents within the New Canaan Brokerage. Her recent accolades range from local recognition to national praise. In 2022, she was named as a Top 15 Agent Company-Wide and is a consistent Diamond level Producer, as well as one of "America's Best Real Estate Professionals” REALTRENDS. As a full time real estate professional for over 25 years in New Canaan, Darien, and points beyond, she continues to love it as much today, as when she showed her first home.

Janis has been active in the New Canaan community since first moving here, along with her husband and two sons, who went through the New Canaan school system. She served as a two-year term President of the New Canaan Board of Realtors and MLS, and is a past Member of the Connecticut Board of Realtors. She was also Chairperson to the New Canaan Tax Board of Appeals 2016-2019.

Some of Janis's favorite hobbies in New Canaan include playing paddle tennis at Waveny Park, pickle-ball at the Mead Park, swimming at the YMCA, taking classes at Lapham Community Center, and walking all of the beautiful parks and land trusts throughout town. Janis is also an active member of the Congregational Church of New Canaan.
