About Jason

Fade back to the year 2005, I opened the first Fish MLS Realty office, not a good time when the real estate market ballooned and popped. Our sales team and I transitioned from traditional to REO to investment and back to traditional. I followed the trends of the market which allows success even in a down market; real estate is always moving. So we opened with less than a dozen Realtors and are now just under a hundred today. Our growth consistent and a results from many referrals and our reputation. We consider ourselves a boutique; one that specializes in agency of real estate!

I consider myself a seasoned real estate veteran. While over the course of my career, I have learned that this profession, like many professions, is in a constant state of evolution. And I think that a successful Realtor® or Broker dedicates their time to the craft with knowledge.

The complexities of this industry are always in flux; whether it is the financial market, employment, interest rates or laws impacting real estate, I believe ones knowledge can attain more value or savings for a customer. A course of the two decades in the industry involving hands on experience through precedented transactions has allowed our agency to be successful. I take pride representing or assisting Realtors and customers!

As the broker and owner, I have the responsibility of overseeing hundreds of transactions a year which can include residential, land, commercial, land development, management, title insurance, mortgage and investment.

One of the most rewarding aspects of a Fish Realtor's job has to be the day a customer closes on the American Dream; it always feels amazing to be part of a such memorable milestone. I as do our Realtors, strive to be a top negotiator in the industry and always for the client's best interest. Realtors understand that not every transaction similar, so we must wear many hats, it might be a counselor, a decorator, a contractor, a banker and most of the time a firefighter. There are always fires in real estate; it's logistics and so many moving parts.

As a Broker, I try to find and hire the best Realtors, and many of our Realtors begin their careers with the big box corporate brokerages. I find it rewarding when they choose Fish to continue their career. And our Realtors® pride ourselves on a midwest work ethic with firm grasp on the fiduciary fundamentals of agency. We are currently licensed brokerage in Wisconsin and Minnesota. And in 2019, we will apply to be licensed in the popular snowbird state of Florida.
