Jason Burk

Jason Burk, CCIM, is a commercial real estate veteran who has been in the industry since 1999. He has multi-faceted experience in both development and brokerage. Closing over $80 million in career transactions, Jason’s focus is retail/restaurant representation, site location, and shopping center investment sales. Jason also lends his expertise to corporate office transactions, distressed (bank-owned) properties, and the needs of investors and institutions. His Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation means that he has completed advanced coursework in financial, market, and investment analysis, in addition to negotiation.

Jason began his commercial real estate career with Landex, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, working on a project anchored by Concord Mills Mall. He continued with Alliance Development Group, also out of Charlotte, developing single-tenant restaurant projects. In 2009, Jason’s Asheville work focused on the sales, leasing and disposition of distressed assets with Whitney Commercial Real Estate. He joined the executive team at Biltmore Farms in 2014 as the Director of Leasing, handling leasing transactions on over 1.6 million square feet of retail and office space, including Biltmore Park Town Square - an award-winning mixed-use project. He was also involved in strategic planning for 3,000 acres of the company’s holdings.

Jason’s service and community involvement includes time as a Board Member of the Black Mountain Chamber, a Deacon and Youth leader at Christ Community Church, Leadership Asheville, a Volunteer at RHA Neil Dobbins Center, and The Swannanoa Valley Medical Center Board.

Originally from South Carolina, he and his wife, Hope, and children, Laila and Jack Wesley, moved to Black Mountain in 2009. He enjoys backpacking, fishing, and boating with his family.
