About Jason
My name is Jason Cavanaugh and I an entering my 10th year in Real Estate because I love serving people. Ever since I started I decided that I was going to take the approach of a coach, counselor, advisor and not be motivated by money, but to do right by people. I am honored to be a RamseyTrusted Real Estate Pro certified by the Ramsey Solutions team.
I have lived in the PNW my entire life except for one year abroad in Australia because I love it here. I feel called to live here and I love the mountains, the beach and all the beautiful trails and hikes nearby. I am an avid sports fan, a father, husband and active member at New Song Church in Bellingham. You might see me playing guitar on stage, hitting leadoff for our church softball team, out on a hike with my family or coaching my kids sports teams. My family and I are serious about being involved and plugged into our community while also being aware of how blessed we are. Since 2011 my wife and I have partnered with a special Non Profit called Charity Water and we are very passionate about getting people clean drinking water. So I have dedicated a special percentage of my commissions on every transaction to go towards water projects all over the world. It really helps to keep things in perspective. I've had various different jobs throughout my life, McDonalds, a machine shop, construction in Australia, the roads and drainage department for the City which is way more fun than it sounds and management at a software company in the sales department. Each job has given me special skills to put me where I am today and I am so grateful for the learning experiences.
I pride myself by being well informed and going above and beyond. There is nothing worse than spending a great deal of money and feeling like you just got robbed. I want people to have the best experience possible and that is why I joined Real Estate. What has made me successful in sales is being able to connect with people and make sure they are getting what they want, not what I think they want. Great service is hard to come by and I want my clients to feel heard, respected and know that I will never give up on them. Communication is also very important and I like to walk people through the entire process and guide them along the way just as I would expect if I was on the other side of the table.
