Ben grew up in a small midwestern town, became an Air Force engineering officer, and earned a master’s degree in management and leadership along the way. He’s a free-spirited people person, but the military taught him to pay attention to detail, while engineering taught him to define problems and find solutions. His leadership roles and master’s degree gave him insight into what motivates people and how they make decisions. Real estate allows him to help people while doing things that he’s more naturally good at and enjoy. What brings him the most satisfaction in his work is after a bad experience his wife and him had with their first agent, he has a passion to protect his clients and be at the top of his game. These two things meet most often in knowing when to push for more or when to take the deal. When he gets the best results for his client – while being courteous and respectful of the other side – that’s mastery. One thing his clients should know about him is that the industry measures performance by sales volume, but he believes client experience and results delivered are the true measure of an agent. Instead of chasing the next transaction, most of his time is spent chasing that small space between fairly good results and excellent results. As his clients moved up and he grew more sophisticated, he began working mostly with high-end properties. This allowed him to hire a staff, freeing him up to be truly there for his clients. His clients describe him as Confident. Very competent. Cares about results. Highly personalized service. Established and successful in a niche market of higher-end homes. Whatever it takes, Jason will get the job done.
