Jay Scholten

As Founder and President of Capital Real Estate Partners, LLC, Jay Scholten is focused on tenant satisfaction, managed preventive maintenance programs and increased net operating income. An operator at heart, Jay is driven by a desire to help others, tackle challenging problems and create solutions. Jay has over 20 years of management experience ranging from operations management of a large union workforce to leading the property management division of a regional real estate company specializing in management and leasing of medical office buildings.

Jay holds an A.A. from College of DuPage and studied management at National Louis University. He is an Illinois licensed real estate broker. Jay and his wife currently live in the Chicago suburbs with their two children and Boxer. Growing up, Jay was fortunate to travel with People to People International and experience many other cultures and meet new people. These are passions that Jay continues to carry today. A licensed skydiver, Jay is looking forward to many more jumps when his children are a bit older.
